There are three types of ACL request forms :
 The
« article » form is used to code a single article ;
The
« assembled products » form is used to code several
products put together, usually for a given period of time, or a
display ;
The
« promotional package » form is used to code a promotion
for the pharmacist, or several products put together.

In order to avoid any confusion within the distribution network :
When a
product has been marketed with an ACL code, a new code is requested
if at least one of the following item changes: name, galenic form,
content, container or number or units in the packaging.
Moreover,
the code of a product which is not anymore on the market must not be
reused for another product.
